Job Description Summary

At GE Vernova, we are helping electrify the world while driving more reliable, efficient, and sustainable energy solutions. We are looking for a proactive Contracts and Logistics Manager to join our team in Stafford and lead key contract fulfilment, warehouse, dispatch, and global outbound logistics. This is a hands-on leadership role for a commercially minded expert who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is ready to take full ownership of our end-to-end supply chain operations. You will be a visible leader on the shop floor, aligning planning, manufacturing, and warehouse teams to ensure customer commitments are met safely, compliantly, and on time.

Job Description

Operational Leadership & Safety

  • Lead a visible, hands-on presence on the shop floor, fostering a culture where safety, quality, and operational efficiency are core to every daily task.

End-to-End Ownership

  • Take full responsibility for contracts administration, warehouse operations, and global outbound logistics, ensuring all shipments are delivered safely, compliantly, and on time.

Data-Led Transformation

  • Transform departmental efficiency by building and maintaining Tableau dashboards and implementing rigorous, actionable KPIs to provide real-time visibility into the order-to-dispatch flow.

Performance Governance

  • Chair daily governance meetings to monitor performance, resolve bottlenecks, and bridge the gap between planning and execution.

Lean Improvement

  • Drive Lean principles across all workflows to eliminate waste, optimize warehouse layout, and streamline load planning and dock management.

Stakeholder Influence

  • Build strong, influential relationships with regional leaders, acting as the primary point of contact for supply chain issues and driving improvements to support site growth.

Strategic & Commercial Impact

  • Contribute to Site Leadership Team strategy, making commercial decisions that directly influence P&L, freight costs, and inventory values.

Compliance & Lifecycle

  • Manage complex export/import customs requirements, oversee the procurement of traded products, and drive New Product Introduction (NPI) processes across all functional areas.

Essential Candidate Requirements

Operational Experience

  • Proven leadership experience within a logistics, warehouse, contracts, or supply chain environment.

Technical Proficiency

  • Practical experience with SAP (or an equivalent ERP system) and a solid understanding of how to drive improvements using Lean principles and Daily Management tools.

Planning Expertise

  • Experience participating in MPS and S&OP processes to ensure alignment between manufacturing output and customer delivery.

Data-Driven Mindset

  • Ability to set rigorous KPIs and use Tableau to make evidence-based decisions that optimize end-to-end flow.

Commercial Acumen

  • Strong foundation in business finance, including P&L management, budgets, and CAPEX investment.

Logistics Knowledge

  • In-depth understanding of import/export processes, shipping coordination, and customs compliance.
