Contracts & Commercial Manager - Weybridge, Surrey - Offshore Renewable Energy

This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of commercial and contractual management within a growing international Offshore Energy business.

Are you an experienced Contracts & Commercial Manager with a background in marine contracting, offshore energy, or marine construction? Are you looking for an opportunity to play a pivotal role in managing major commercial relationships, negotiating complex contracts, and supporting the successful delivery of high-profile offshore projects?

Our client is seeking an accomplished Offshore Energy Contracts & Commercial Manager to join its growing UK team, based in Weybridge, Surrey.

This is a key appointment within an expanding Offshore Energy business, offering the opportunity to work closely with the Commercial Director and senior project leadership team, taking responsibility for the commercial and contractual management of subsea rock installation projects across the UK, Europe, and international markets.

You'll have the opportunity to make a genuine impact, combining hands-on contract management, commercial negotiations, claims management, and strategic risk mitigation across a diverse portfolio of client and supply-chain relationships.

The Opportunity

Reporting directly to the Commercial Director, you will take a leading role in protecting and maximizing the commercial interests of the business throughout the project lifecycle. Working closely with project delivery, procurement, finance, operations, and legal teams, you'll provide practical commercial guidance, manage contractual risk, and ensure that commercial arrangements support successful project execution.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Identify contractual risks, obligations, liabilities, and commercial opportunities.
  • Provide clear, practical commercial advice to project and operational teams.
  • Ensure contractual compliance, including the effective management of notices, obligations, and deadlines.
  • Support the Commercial Director with negotiations and the resolution of complex commercial matters.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
