We're looking for an experienced recruitment professional to join Reed's Technology division in Bury St Edmunds as a Senior or Principal Recruitment Consultant.

This is an opportunity for an established recruiter to take ownership of a specialist technology market, build upon an existing client base and leverage the strength of one of the UK's most recognised recruitment brands.

Whether you're currently recruiting within software development, infrastructure, cyber security, cloud, data, digital or wider technology markets, we'll give you the platform, support and autonomy to accelerate your success.

The Opportunity

As a Senior / Principal Consultant, you'll take ownership of your market and play a key role in driving growth across the region.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Developing new client relationships across your specialist technology market
  • Identifying and winning new business opportunities
  • Growing and developing existing accounts
  • Building high-quality candidate networks within your niche
  • Managing recruitment processes from brief to placement
  • Negotiating commercial agreements and securing retained or exclusive partnerships
  • Becoming a recognised expert within your market

This is a highly consultative role suited to recruiters who enjoy building genuine long-term relationships and delivering outstanding results.

Who We're Looking For

We're keen to speak with recruiters who can demonstrate:

  • Agency recruitment experience within Technology, IT, Digital or another specialist professional services market
  • A strong track record of business development and client acquisition
  • Consistent billing performance
  • Experience managing the full recruitment lifecycle
  • The ability to build credibility with senior stakeholders
  • Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to winning business
  • Most importantly, you'll be ambitious, relationship-driven and motivated by the opportunity to grow a successful desk within a supportive, high-performing environment.
