We're looking for a Contract Delivery Manager to join our team at Capenhurst. In this role, you will lead the Contract Management team in a geographical location supporting all projects delivered in their portfolio or program. The remit will include the development of all support resources and accountability for the quality of contract.
Contract Management team, which provides direct project support to effectively and efficiently manage the delivery and control of project expenditure.
The Contract Management Delivery Manager will be assigned to a location and deliver the support for the portfolio of local delivered projects, Major Projects or Expansion projects and supplying contract management support at program / portfolio level and liaise directly with business units to ensure the optimum use of Project Support personnel in accordance with Urenco’s policies and procedures.
What you'll do
- Develop contract management strategies specific to the project requirements and own the contract management implementation plan
- Be accountable for the delivery of portfolio level reports including forward resource planning
- Overall responsibility for the reporting of project, program/portfolio status in relation to safety, scope, cost, schedule and Business benefits objectives
- Providing portfolio / business level reporting
- Analysis of project progress metrics to ensure successful project delivery including flagging issues to the project manager in good time to enable remedial action

What do you need to thrive in this role?
Qualifications
- Educated to Degree level in a relevant discipline (e.g. Quantity Surveying, Law or Engineering)
- Project Management or Contract Management Qualification/Accreditation - CIPS, APM
- Ability to analyse project requirements and critical success factors and translate these into bespoke Contract Management Strategies
- Demonstrable experience in developing and implementing strategies that successfully deliver project to Business objectives (safety, budget, cost, benefits)
- Experience of managing complex contractual relationships including the provision of free-issue materials, technology or IP, able to demonstrate a proven track record in managing suppliers to deliver within this context.
- Solid knowledge of leading Contract Management personnel
- Skilled in leading project teams to success with minimal supervision.
- Commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement

Security vetting
Due to the nature of the industry that Urenco operates in, all personnel regardless of employment status working for Urenco are required to obtain security clearance at the level required for their role. Security clearances are assessed in accordance with regulations and official guidance issued by the relevant competent authorities for national security vetting. In certain circumstances, additional enhanced security clearance considerations apply to roles within Urenco owing to the particular activities that the Urenco Group undertakes in relation to uranium enrichment. Successful candidates will need to satisfy security requirements, and all offers of appointment are made subject to the successful approval of all checks initiated.
