Description

Accredited Insurance Limited/Accredited Insurance European Limited (“Accredited”), is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Contracts Data Entry, Law Graduate to support Accredited EU/UK Wordings function. This role will provide hands-on exposure to a dedicated, in-house contracts department in the property and casualty specialty insurance sector. This role will be primarily focused on entering and reviewing EU/UK (Re) Insurance contracts into an electronic library and assisting with the management and reporting on the Accredited’s contract management system.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the entering, review, drafting, property and casualty specialty insurance contracts, including NDAs, vendor contracts, and program contracts
  • Support contract lifecycle management, including intake, tracking, execution, and archiving of contracts
  • Review and archive existing and expired program contracts, update templates and clauses in support of Accredited’s contract management system
  • Partner with underwriting, claims, and ceded reinsurance to gather information and ensure contract accuracy
  • Support process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency in the contracts workflow
  • Perform general administrative and organizational tasks for Accredited Legal, as needed

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Either a law or related degree graduate with a focus in Legal Studies, Business, or related field.
  • Strong interest in contract law, property and casualty insurance, or financial services
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); familiarity with contract management systems is a plus
