Contracts Manager
Location: Wirksworth, DE4 4FR
Hours: 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Who Are We?
We are Thompsons Group, offering three key service lines:
- Thompson Tree Services: Arboricultural contracting & vegetation management.
- Thompson Consultancy: Ecological and arboricultural surveys & consultancy.
- Thompson Environment: Landscaping, tree planting, and fencing.
What you’ll do:
As our Contracts Manager, you’ll be at the heart of our business operations. You’ll lead contracts, projects and arboricultural works to success by:
- Managing projects from start to finish.
- Managing the day to day operations of contracts.
- Estimating arboricultural works.
- Planning and deploying teams.
- Conducting audits, safety briefings and consultations.
- Building lasting client relationships.

What we’re looking for:
You’re a confident and proactive team player with strong organisational skills. Here’s what will make you stand out:
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise.
- Experience in estimating and managing arboricultural works.
- IT proficiency, including Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
- A keen eye for detail and a methodical approach.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships.
- A positive attitude and a drive to continuously improve processes.
- Confidence liaising with people.
- Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
