Role Description
The Contracts Manager will oversee the planning, coordination, and delivery of roofing, fireproofing, and refurbishment projects from inception to completion. This full-time, on-site role based in the United Kingdom involves managing contracts, monitoring project progress, controlling costs, and ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations and industry standards. - Liaising with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors
- Preparing and reviewing contract documentation
- Managing variations

The role also requires:
- Maintaining accurate records
- Reporting on project performance
- Supporting continuous improvement in processes, quality, and customer satisfaction
Qualifications
- Experience in contract management, including drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and administering construction contracts.
- Knowledge of roofing, fireproofing, building refurbishment, or related construction disciplines and site operations.
- Strong project management skills, such as scheduling, resource planning, cost control, and risk management.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and regulatory requirements relevant to construction projects.
- Proficiency in using project management and office software (e.g., MS Office, project scheduling tools, document management systems).
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills with clients, suppliers, and site teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Solid understanding of health & safety standards and compliance within construction environments.
- Relevant qualification in construction management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Previous experience as a Contracts Manager or similar role in the construction or building services sector in the UK is highly beneficial.
