The Role

We are looking for a Contracts Manager to join our Procurement Team! As Contracts Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing and negotiating vendor contracts across the Group, ensuring that all agreements deliver optimal commercial and legal outcomes. Your expertise will focus on Goods and/or Services agreements, SaaS agreements, NDAs, and DPAs. Collaborating with all Procurement Managers and stakeholders, you will ensure all contracts meet our standards and comply with relevant legal and regulatory frameworks.

This is a remote-based role with quarterly team meetings at one of our offices.
Contract Review, Drafting, and Negotiation:
- Own the contract drafting and review process in PureGym’s Contract Lifecycle Management platform and provide support with the negotiation of a wide range of vendor contracts, including Goods and Services agreements, SaaS contracts, non-disclosure agreements, and data processing agreements.
- Ensure all agreements align with company objectives, align with our standard terms and conditions, and deliver optimal commercial and legal protection.
- Ensure all contracting activities are delivered on time.
Data Compliance Support:
- Collaborate with the Group Data Compliance Manager to ensure robust data protection clauses are incorporated into all contracts and Data Processing Agreements as required.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Act as a trusted advisor to all Procurement Managers, providing expert guidance on contractual issues and negotiation strategies.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring delivery of all contracting activities, ongoing alignment, and smooth resolution of any contractual issues and disputes.
Process Optimization:
- Manage the contract approval and signature processes efficiently and in-line with the Delegation of Authority.
- Collaborate with the Procurement Governance Manager to ensure all contracting activities comply with the supply chain risk and compliance framework.
- Support the Head of Contracts & Governance with the ongoing review of contract templates and processes.
- Support with the upkeep of PureGym’s cloud-based Contract Lifecycle Management platform.
- Ensure the ongoing prioritization of contracting activities.

The Person
- Effective Communicator: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex legal concepts clearly and concisely.
- Collaborative and Proactive: A natural team player who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and demonstrates a pragmatic, solutions-oriented mindset.
- Detail-Oriented and Organized: Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
- Adaptable and Flexible: This is a remote role, however, candidate must be willing to travel between corporate offices, including internationally, as required.
Qualifications & Skills
- A law degree, GDL, or equivalent, with an interest and experience in contract management.
- Proven Expertise: 3+ years’ demonstrable experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating vendor contracts, particularly Goods and Services agreements, SaaS agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and data processing agreements.
