Contracts Manager – Social Housing

Sites: Midlands

Salary: Up to £80,000 + package

Package: £5,500 car allowance + bonus scheme + private pension

Progression: Clear pathway to Construction Director

The Opportunity

We are working with an established housing developer specialising in new-build social housing through partnerships, who are looking to appoint an experienced Contracts Manager to join their growing construction division.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants more than simply managing individual projects. You will oversee 3–4 live housing sites across the Midlands while playing a key role in heading up and developing the wider construction division.

The Role

As Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing multiple live developments, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards.

You will also have the opportunity to take a more strategic role within the business, working closely with senior management and helping shape the future of the construction division.

What They're Looking For

  • 2+ years' experience as a Contracts Manager
  • Experience working for a small to medium-sized housing developer
  • Strong background in new-build housing
  • Partnerships experience within the social housing sector
  • Experience managing multiple live housing sites
  • Strong leadership, communication and commercial awareness
  • Someone ambitious who wants to progress into a Head of Construction role within 18 months
