We are currently recruiting for an experienced Contracts Manager to join an established fit-out contractor, overseeing a portfolio of hospitality and leisure projects across the UK.
The role will be primarily office-based in Bristol, with regular nationwide travel to live projects. The successful candidate will have a strong background in hospitality fit-out and refurbishment, ideally having worked on bars, restaurants, casinos, hotels or similar high-end leisure environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Take overall responsibility for the successful delivery of multiple hospitality and leisure projects nationwide.
- Manage projects from pre-construction through to completion and handover.
- Oversee Site Managers, Project Managers, subcontractors and supply chain partners.
- Carry out regular site visits across the UK to monitor progress, quality, programme and health & safety.
- Liaise directly with clients, consultants, designers and subcontractors.
- Manage project programmes, ensuring works are delivered on time and to agreed standards.
- Monitor project costs, budgets, variations and commercial performance.
- Review and manage subcontractor performance and procurement.
- Attend client and project meetings, providing regular progress updates.
- Ensure all projects are delivered in accordance with relevant legislation, company procedures and health & safety requirements.
- Identify and resolve project issues before they impact programme or cost.
- Assist with tendering, estimating and pre-construction activities where required.
- Ensure projects are properly documented and handed over to the client on completion.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.

- Proven experience as a Contracts Manager, Senior Project Manager or similar within the construction/fit-out sector.
- Strong experience delivering hospitality, leisure or high-end commercial fit-out projects.
- Experience working on bars, restaurants, casinos, hotels or similar environments would be highly advantageous.
- Strong understanding of construction programmes, commercial management and project delivery.
- Experience managing multiple projects and teams simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and client management skills.
- Ability to work independently and make commercial and operational decisions.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Willingness to travel nationwide to live projects.
- SMSTS and relevant construction qualifications preferred.
