Chronos Energy are looking to recruit an experienced Contracts Manager for their client, one of the leading developers of low carbon heat city wide networks in the UK.

The successful candidate will work closely with legal, commercial, delivery, finance, and operations to support the customer contracting process and to procure, negotiate, and manage supplier contracts through the entire contractual lifecycle. The role will be a hybrid role with 3 days a week office time in Oxford.

You will need:

  • 3-5 years in a contract management environment
  • Practical experience in a procurement focused supplier selection focused roles
  • Strong and experienced negotiator of contracts
  • Experience managing supplier contracts during delivery or operation (NEC 4)
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders and departments along the contract lifecycle
  • Confidence reading, understanding, and working on contracts without the need to be legally qualified

Desirable experience:

  • Experience in energy, heat networks, construction, utilities infrastructure, M&E, building services, or similar based projects
  • Experience with construction contracts (NEC/JCT)
  • Experience in SME or scale-up environments
