About The Role

Contracts Manager sought by RGB Recruitment for a full-time position based in Devon, paying £63,000 to £70,000 per annum plus car, bonus, and additional benefits. This is a senior operational position overseeing a portfolio of highways and civil engineering schemes, with responsibility for multiple project teams and the successful delivery of works from pre-construction through to completion.

The Role As Contracts Manager, You Will

  • Oversee multiple civil engineering projects across the region
  • Lead and support Project Managers and site delivery teams
  • Take responsibility for programme, quality, safety and overall project performance
  • Work closely with commercial, planning and pre-construction teams
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders and supply chain partners
  • Support tendering and future work-winning opportunities
  • Monitor project performance and implement corrective measures where required
  • Identify opportunities for continued growth across existing and future projects
  • Drive best practice and continuous improvement across delivery teams

About You We Are Looking For Someone With

  • Proven senior management experience within civil engineering, highways or infrastructure
  • Experience overseeing multiple projects and delivery teams
  • Strong operational and commercial awareness
  • Experience working within framework or repeat-client environments
  • Good knowledge of NEC contracts
  • Excellent leadership and client-facing skills
  • SMSTS
  • Full UK driving licence
