About The Client
We are partnering with a leading building envelope main contractor specialising in complex façade systems and rainscreen cladding. Known for delivering high-profile new-build commercial schemes and major high-rise remediation/re-cladding projects, they boast an exceptional reputation for safety, innovation, and project excellence.
Due to a growing national pipeline, they are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee multiple live projects simultaneously from contract award through to handover.
The Role
As Contracts Manager, you will hold full operational and commercial accountability for a portfolio of external envelope projects across the UK. You will lead project delivery teams, manage sophisticated supply chains, and act as the principal point of contact for tier-one clients and developers.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Delivery: Oversee multi-site operations from pre-construction, mobilization, and design coordination through to successful on-time delivery.
- Commercial & Programme Control: Partner with the commercial team to monitor project variations, manage budgets, track operational KPIs, and safeguard margins.
- Quality & Compliance: Ensure all installations adhere rigidly to project specifications, CWCT guidelines, and the latest Building Safety Act 2022 frameworks (including PAS 9980 / FRAEW criteria on remediation works).
- Subcontractor Management: Coordinate, program, and manage specialist cladding, façade, and scaffolding packages.
- Health & Safety: Drive an uncompromising health and safety culture on site, ensuring strict compliance with CDM 2015 duty-holder regulations.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
