Ringway is seeking a proactive and commercially focused Highways Contracts Manager to join our Hounslow PFI Contract. This is a key operational leadership role responsible for managing an area of the contract, ensuring the safe, efficient and profitable delivery of highways maintenance and improvement works whilst meeting contractual, quality and performance obligations.
Working closely with operational teams, clients and stakeholders, you will lead the delivery of work programmes, drive performance against key KPIs, manage resources and budgets, and champion Ringway's commitment to health, safety, environmental excellence and customer service.
The Role
As Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for leading operational teams to deliver works safely, on programme and to specification. You will actively manage contract performance, commercial outcomes and resource planning, while fostering strong relationships with the London Borough of Hounslow and other key stakeholders.

You will also play a key role in developing your team, promoting a positive safety culture and ensuring compliance with all company procedures, industry standards and contract requirements.
About You
You will have experience managing teams within highways, construction, civil engineering or a similar infrastructure environment. You'll be a strong leader with excellent communication skills, commercial awareness and a proven ability to deliver operational performance.
We're looking for someone who can demonstrate:
- Experience managing operational delivery within highways or infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of health, safety and environmental requirements.
- Commercial awareness, including budget and performance management.
- Excellent stakeholder and client relationship skills.
- The ability to lead, motivate and develop teams.
- Strong planning, organisational and problem-solving capabilities.

A qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Highways Maintenance or a related discipline is desirable, together with an understanding of CDM roles and responsibilities
