We are committed to supporting the global effort for industrial decarbonisation and sustainable development and have set ambitious objectives to achieve our target of net zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050. 🌍

What's the role?

We require, first and foremost, a legal contracts specialist who has had experience within the UK construction, energy, renewables or utilities sectors and is comfortable working with NEC, JCT and other model terms and conditions for projects in those sectors.

The successful candidate will lead on sales and purchasing contract reviews and negotiations working with the sales and commercial operations teams in our businesses together with other legal advice and support as required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contract review. The review, analysis and negotiation of business contracts with customers, suppliers and other third parties. Our customers and suppliers are constituents of the construction, energy, renewables and utility sectors and we manufacture and supply both power products and undertake design and construction services to this group.
  • The role extends to supporting the business with generic legal matters from drafting contract templates to contract interpretation, input to bids and tenders, settlement of project disputes, debt recovery through to soft intellectual property e.g. copyright protection and insurance matters.
  • In addition to working in a collaborative and collegiate fashion across the business, with key stakeholders such as compliance, finance, health and safety, sales, tendering and project management the role will form part of the BRUSH Group Legal Department and report into the Group Legal Director. They will be involved in department projects and discussions of a legal nature.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
