Contracts Manager – Legal & Commercial
Location: Hybrid / Flexible (UK Base)
Package: Competitive Salary + 26 Days Holiday + Enhanced Pension + Benefits
Peaple Talent are currently partnering with a market-leading UK energy and infrastructure solutions provider driving large-scale grid decarbonisation and renewable power infrastructure.
Due to significant investment across UK power generation and clean energy, they are expanding their Group Legal team to recruit a Legal Contracts Specialist to take ownership of sales and purchasing contract reviews.
What You'll Need
- Solid practical experience working with standard form construction and engineering contracts, specifically NEC, JCT, and bespoke model terms.
- A proven track record operating within the UK construction, energy, renewables, utilities, or heavy engineering sectors.
- Background as either a UK-qualified Solicitor (3+ years PQE) with construction experience or a Commercial Contracts Specialist with strong legal and drafting skills.
- Commercial acumen across reviewing, drafting, and negotiating supply and project delivery agreements alongside sales, tendering, and project delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the review, analysis, and negotiation of business contracts and supply agreements with major UK utility providers, main contractors, and energy clients.
- Provide key legal input on bids and tenders, contract interpretation, generic legal matters, and intellectual property protection.
- Support project delivery teams with project variations, claims, dispute management, and debt recovery where required.
- Report directly to the Group Legal Director while working collaboratively with sales, procurement, finance, and engineering teams.
