Role Description
The Contracts Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Kirkby Mallory, responsible for overseeing flooring projects from initial enquiry through to completion. This role includes managing contract documentation, reviewing specifications, and ensuring that project scopes, timelines, and budgets are clearly defined and adhered to. The Contracts Manager will coordinate with clients, suppliers, and internal teams, schedule work, and monitor progress to ensure high-quality installation and compliance with health and safety requirements.

Qualifications
- Experience in contract management, including drafting, reviewing, and administering contracts for construction or flooring projects.
- Strong project management abilities, with skills in planning, scheduling, budgeting, and monitoring project performance.
- Knowledge of commercial and industrial construction or flooring environments, including relevant standards and health and safety requirements.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients, suppliers, and colleagues.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Proficiency with common office software (e.g., email, spreadsheets, word processing) and basic familiarity with project or contract management tools.
- Proven ability to work on-site, make informed decisions, and resolve issues promptly in collaboration with operational teams.
- Relevant experience in a similar role; formal qualifications in construction management, business, or a related field are advantageous but not mandatory.
