The Opportunity
An established and highly successful roofing contractor with over 45 years of industry experience is looking to appoint a Contracts Manager to join its growing team based in Corby.
The business specializes in commercial and industrial roofing refurbishment projects across a range of sectors including Education, Healthcare, Commercial, Industrial, and Public Sector developments. With a full order book already secured and a reputation for quality delivery, this is an excellent opportunity to join a stable and expanding company offering genuine long-term career prospects.
The successful candidate will take responsibility for managing multiple roofing refurbishment projects from contract award through to completion, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
Projects typically range from £50,000 to £3 million, with sites generally located between London and Leeds.

The Role
Reporting to the senior management team, the Contracts Manager will oversee the successful delivery of multiple commercial roofing refurbishment schemes, managing client relationships, site teams, subcontractors, and project performance throughout the construction lifecycle.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing multiple roofing refurbishment projects simultaneously.
- Programming and coordinating labour, materials, and subcontractors.
- Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
- Managing site teams and maintaining high standards of workmanship.
- Conducting regular site visits and progress meetings.
- Liaising with clients, consultants, and stakeholders throughout project delivery.
- Monitoring project costs, variations, and commercial performance.
- Supporting procurement activities and subcontractor management.
- Managing project programmes and addressing potential delays.
- Ensuring health and safety compliance across all sites.
- Producing progress reports and attending management review meetings.
- Maintaining strong client relationships and identifying opportunities for repeat business.
About You
Applications are welcomed from experienced Contracts Managers, Project Managers, or Senior Site Managers with a proven background delivering roofing refurbishment projects within the commercial construction sector.

Suitable candidates will have:
- Previous experience managing commercial roofing refurbishment projects.
- Strong knowledge of flat roofing, industrial roofing, and refurbishment works.
- Experience overseeing multiple sites and project teams simultaneously.
- Excellent programme management and organizational skills.
- Strong commercial awareness and budget control experience.
- Experience managing subcontractors and supply chain partners.
- Working knowledge of health and safety legislation and site compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
- A proactive and hands-on management style.
- Full UK driving licence.
