Remuneration: £50,000 - £60,000 (negotiable)

Role Overview

The role of the Contracts / Project Manager Structural Steelwork will involve:

  • Contracts / Project Manager position overseeing a range of heavy & light steelwork projects
  • Regular site visits nationally to monitor project progress, health & safety compliance, and contractor performance
  • Work closely with main clients, direct labour, sub-contractors, suppliers, and other external and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth running of projects
  • Carrying out health & safety reports, quality assurance, snagging, and close out on a daily basis
  • Preparing work tasks for the installations team and strategic planning of works
  • Monitoring each stage of the project ensuring resources are productive and the delivery schedule is being met within budget
  • Oversee projects typically up to £10m in value

Requirements

The ideal applicant will be a Contracts / Project Manager Structural Steelwork with:

  • Must have Contracts Management or Project Management experience within the structural steelwork or related sectors (industrial doors, fabrication, temporary buildings, SFS, architectural metal, steelwork)
  • Ideal for a candidate to have experience dealing with a Main-contractor
  • Must have the ability to manage teams
  • Fresh outlook with the ability to adapt and influence
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Must be able to hit the ground running
  • IT literate
