Remuneration: £45,000 - £50,000 neg

Role Description
The role of the Estimator Steel Fabrication will involve:
- Estimator position overseeing a range of heavy & light steelwork projects
- Lead end-to-end tendering process, including take-offs, pricing, submission, and handover
- Prepare accurate cost estimates using drawings, specifications, and estimating software
- Manage and track tender opportunities, ensuring timely follow-ups to maximise conversions
- Engage with clients and contractors through site visits, technical input, and value engineering to support bids
- Collaborate with internal teams, lead handovers, and mentor junior estimators to strengthen delivery and capability
- Oversee projects typically up to £10m in value

Ideal Applicant
The ideal applicant will be an Estimator Steel Fabrication with:
- Must have Estimating experience within the structural steelwork or related sectors (industrial doors, fabrication, temporary buildings, SFS, architectural metal, steelwork)
- Ideal for a candidate to have experience dealing with a Main-contractor
- Excellent communication skills across all levels both written and verbal
- Confident individual that can deal with any problems that occur on site
- Must be a hard worker that's ready to get stuck in
- High levels of organisation
- Computer Literate (Microsoft Office)
