Salary: £38,161.67 - £42,831.52 per annum
Hours: 35.25 hour per week (full time)
Contract: Permanent

Hillcrest Homes is recruiting for a Contracts Officer (Landscaping).

About the Service

The Asset Management Team is part of the Property Department and works across all property-owning companies within Hillcrest. The Team deals with property management and maintenance issues to ensure that properties are well maintained and in accordance with relevant property legislation.

About the Role

As the Contracts Officer (Landscaping) postholder you will:

  • Be responsible for the inspection, monitoring and continuous improvement of communal landscaping and winter maintenance services across the Hillcrest’s housing portfolio.
  • Work closely with our landscape contractors to ensure their works are carried out correctly, safely and providing good value for money.
  • Play a vital role in enhancing our greenspaces within our housing stock. You will work with our existing teams and with our stakeholder partners to develop a bio-diversity action plan which will create greener, more climate resilient environments that support our tenant’s health and quality of life

About You

You will:

  • Have qualifications at a minimum of Level 6 of the Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework (SCQF)
  • Have experience working in a contract maintenance environment along with good IT skills
  • Hold a valid driving license and have a willingness to travel as required
  • Have flexibility to working seasonal hours as required. This will be discussed at interview however it may be longer hours in the summer months and shorter hours in the winter
  • Work co-operatively and collaboratively with colleagues from all teams, to successfully deliver services and outcomes
