About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Contracts Specialist to manage a broad range of commercial agreements throughout the contract lifecycle. This position will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, redlining, negotiating, and administering contracts while partnering with internal stakeholders to support business objectives and manage contractual risk.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, commercially minded, highly organized, and comfortable independently managing multiple agreements in a fast-paced environment. This individual will serve as a key resource for contract-related matters and help improve the organization’s contracting processes, templates, and systems.

Key Responsibilities

Contract Drafting and Negotiation

  • Draft, review, revise, and redline a variety of commercial agreements, including vendor, professional services, consulting, software, SaaS, licensing, confidentiality, and other business contracts
  • Lead or support contract negotiations to achieve favorable commercial terms while appropriately managing risk exposure
  • Oversee contracts throughout their lifecycle, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution
  • Identify contract risks and recommend practical, business-aligned solutions
  • Ensure agreements accurately reflect approved business requirements and negotiated terms

Contract Lifecycle Management

  • Manage contracts from initial request and drafting through review, approval, signature, renewal, amendment, and expiration
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for contract-related questions from internal teams and external parties
  • Track key contract dates, deliverables, renewal deadlines, termination rights, and other contractual obligations
  • Maintain accurate and complete contract records within the Contract Lifecycle Management system
  • Coordinate internal reviews and approvals to support accurate and timely contract execution
  • Monitor compliance with contractual requirements and internal policies
  • Assist stakeholders with contract renewals, amendments, extensions, and terminations

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Partner with Operations, Finance, Procurement, Information Security, Privacy, and other teams to translate business needs into clear contractual terms
  • Communicate contract requirements, risks, and obligations clearly to business stakeholders
  • Support vendor and supplier engagements by reviewing associated agreements and commercial terms
  • Help resolve contract-related issues, including service-level concerns, performance issues, and interpretation of contractual obligations
  • Build effective working relationships with internal stakeholders, vendors, and other external parties

Process Improvement and Reporting

  • Maintain and improve contract templates, clause libraries, playbooks, approval workflows, and contracting procedures
  • Support the administration and optimization of the organization’s Contract Lifecycle Management system
  • Identify opportunities to streamline contract review, approval, execution, and reporting processes
  • Develop and maintain reports on contract status, turnaround times, renewals, obligations, and identified risks
  • Promote consistency, accuracy, and adherence to contracting standards across the organization
  • Support contract-related training and guidance for internal teams

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience drafting, reviewing, redlining, negotiating, and administering commercial contracts
  • Demonstrated experience managing agreements throughout the full contract lifecycle
  • Strong understanding of contract terms and the ability to identify and communicate associated risks
  • Experience independently managing multiple contracts, deadlines, and stakeholder priorities
  • Strong written and verbal communication, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and judgment
  • Ability to explain complex contractual concepts in clear, practical business terms
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar productivity tools
  • Experience using Contract Lifecycle Management systems

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

  • 4+ years’ experience managing SaaS agreements
  • Experience in the luxury or high-end consumer goods sector
