Due to continued expansion, we are seeking at least two experienced Control Panel Builders to join our established engineering team at our manufacturing facility in Burnley.
This role is ideal for a skilled professional with a strong electrical background who is looking to further develop their technical expertise within a dynamic and growing business.
Key Responsibilities
- Wiring of electrical control panels and enclosures
- Reading and interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings
- Mounting components including relays, contactors, switches, terminal blocks, and PLCs
- Testing, fault-finding, and functional/operational testing of panels prior to dispatch
- Ensuring all work complies with relevant electrical safety standards and regulations
- Working collaboratively with design engineers and workshop staff
- Carrying out on-site panel modifications and upgrades when required
- Occasional UK travel may be required

Essential Skills & Experience
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in control panel wiring
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components
- Proven ability to read and interpret electrical drawings
- Familiarity with electrical safety practices and regulations
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills
- Proficient in the safe use of hand and power tools
- Full UK Driving Licence
