You will partner closely with Program Leads, Employee Relations, Service and Operations teams, HR Product and Technology partners, and Controls and Policy stakeholders to plan and deliver change initiatives. - Stakeholder management and influence: Act as a senior delivery partner to Program Leads, Technology teams, Employee Relations, Service and Operations, and control partners; align priorities, negotiate trade-offs, and drive decisions through effective influencing skills.
- Embed controls and documentation discipline: Ensure changes are designed and implemented with appropriate controls, documentation, and adherence to required standards and procedures.
- Operational readiness and adoption: Lead change management activities to ensure successful adoption, including communication plans, training needs analysis, materials development, and post-implementation support.
- Continuous improvement and simplification: Identify opportunities to standardize, streamline, and improve processes and reporting, reducing manual effort and operational risk while improving quality outcomes.
- Cross-functional transformation support: Contribute to broader control program management and transformation initiatives and other strategic projects across HR Controls, Policy and Infrastructure as they arise, providing structured problem-solving, delivery leadership, and hands-on execution.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
