💼 We're Hiring: Security Controller
📍 Excel London
As Security Controller, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Security Control Room, acting as the central point of contact for incidents, emergencies, CCTV monitoring, access control, fire alarm activations and security system management.
Working closely with Security Officers, venue management, emergency services and operational teams, you'll provide first-line coordination of security operations across the venue and estate, making critical decisions in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
🔧 Key responsibilities include:
- Monitoring and operating security systems including CCTV, access control, fire alarms, radio communications and associated security technologies.
- Acting as the first point of contact for security-related incidents, enquiries and requests.
- Coordinating responses to security incidents, emergencies and life safety events across the venue and estate.
- Managing CCTV reviews, evidence retrieval and evidential footage in line with legislation and GDPR requirements.
- Monitoring and maintaining the functionality of security and life safety systems, escalating faults where required.
- Supporting and mentoring team members whilst maintaining high standards of professionalism and customer service.

✅ We're looking for someone who:
- Has experience working within a Security Control Room environment or a similar security-focused operational setting.
- Has experience operating CCTV systems and coordinating incidents within a large, complex or customer-facing environment.
- Demonstrates excellent communication skills and can make sound decisions under pressure.
- Has strong attention to detail with experience maintaining accurate reports, incident logs and records.
- Is confident using incident management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Thrives in a dynamic environment and can build positive working relationships across teams and stakeholders.
