About The Role
Ready for an exciting career? Join Mitie as a CCTV/Fire Control Room Operative at our Broughton site. We offer a dynamic work environment with a supportive team.
Enjoy a balanced work-life schedule: 4 on 4 off 2 days 2 nights (12 hour shifts)
Average of 42 hours a week.
Job Description
Your responsibilities will include:
- Emergency Call Handling
- Fire Alarm Management
- Aerodrome Emergencies
- Emergency Services & Agency Coordination
- Out-of-Hours Emergency Calls
- CCTV Monitoring
- CCTV & Incident Investigations
- Training & Development
Additional Duties
- Complete other duties and responsibilities as requested by your Supervisor or Manager
Essential Skills
- The right to work in the UK and a 5-year checkable history
- A valid SIA CCTV licence – (desirable)
- 1–2 years' experience working within a Security Operations Centre / Control Room environment – (desirable)
- The ability and willingness to obtain a high level of security clearance
- Current UK Driving License (no endorsements)
- Flexibility to work days, nights and weekends, including occasional short-notice operational requirements
- Excellent computer skills
- The ability to multitask and work effectively as part of a team
- Strong knowledge of security operations and procedures
- The ability to produce accurate logs, reports and routine correspondence
- Excellent organisational, communication and customer service skills
- Confidence, professionalism and absolute integrity at all times
- A willingness to embrace new training, development opportunities and changes in working practices
- Willing to undergo any relevant training, work weekends and 12-hour shifts.
- Encourage a high standard of Customer Care, advise and assist stakeholders on general enquiries and promote a positive and professional image of Mitie.
