Overview

Anchor Group Services is looking for an experienced and professional Control Room Operator to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis.

Working from the site's Control Room, you will play a vital role in maintaining the safety, security and day-to-day operations of the premises through the effective monitoring of CCTV systems, managing incidents, responding to alarms and supporting operational teams across the site.

In addition to your Control Room responsibilities, you will also support the operation of the site's car park facilities, carrying out patrols, assisting customers and helping to ensure the safe and efficient management of vehicle movements throughout the site.

This role is ideally suited to an individual with previous Control Room or CCTV experience who can remain calm under pressure, demonstrate excellent attention to detail and deliver exceptional customer service. As CCTV monitoring forms a significant part of the role, a valid SIA CCTV Licence is essential.

Duties Include

  • Monitoring CCTV systems and responding to incidents in accordance with site procedures.
  • Operating and monitoring access control, alarm management and life-safety systems.
  • Maintaining accurate Control Room logs, records and incident reports.
  • Responding to emergency situations and escalating incidents where appropriate.
  • Liaising with site management, emergency services, contractors and operational teams.
  • Investigating incidents through CCTV review and evidence gathering.
  • Monitoring site activity and identifying potential security, safety or operational concerns.
  • Supporting the effective operation of the site's car park facilities.
  • Conducting regular car park inspections and patrols.
  • Assisting customers with parking enquiries and providing a high level of customer service.
  • Monitoring traffic flow and reporting any issues affecting the safe operation of the car park.
  • Reporting maintenance defects, hazards and operational issues.
  • Ensuring compliance with all Assignment Instructions, site procedures and Health & Safety requirements.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
