About The Role
Are you an experienced security professional looking to step away from frontline guarding and into a dynamic operational role? Join our professional Operations Control Room team and become the central hub of a fast-paced security operation, coordinating responses, supporting clients, and helping to keep people, property, and services protected around the clock.
Days of Working: This position will be based at our Operations Control Room in Ipswich, working 4 on 4 off shift pattern across either Days or Nights
As part of your role, your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Coordinate and manage responses to incidents, emergencies, and alarm activations.
- Act as the central point of contact for all operational and security-related matters during your shift.
- Maintain regular communication with mobile response officers, site teams, and clients.
- Record incidents, operational activity, and shift updates accurately within control room systems.
- Provide timely updates and reports to clients regarding site activities and incident responses.
- Monitor operations and ensure compliance with company procedures, policies, and industry standards.
- Support the efficient running of the control room to maintain the highest levels of service delivery.
The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:
- Must have the Right to Work in the UK and ability to pass BS7858 vetting.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
- Good IT skills and confidence using computer-based systems.
- Ability to accurately record information and maintain detailed records.
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts, including days, nights, weekends and bank holidays.

Desirable:
- Valid SIA Licence.
- Previous experience within a control room, operations, customer service, contact centre, dispatch, monitoring or security environment.
- Experience coordinating people, resources or incident responses.
- Experience using security, monitoring, scheduling or workforce management software.
