Control Room Team Manager
We are looking for a Control Room Team Manager to join our M&S site in Bradford. You will take ownership of the Control Room operation, ensuring the smooth flow of orders, effective team leadership and excellent customer service. Working closely with operational teams and key stakeholders across the site, you'll play a vital role in driving performance, developing colleagues and ensuring the operation delivers against challenging service and efficiency targets.
This is a full-time, permanent role, working any 5 from 7 – 14:00 to 22:00.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £34,000 per annum and 33 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day
- Leading, motivating and developing the Control Room team to deliver operational excellence and achieve performance targets
- Managing order flow and prioritisation to ensure customer orders are released and fulfilled in line with transport plans and operational requirements
- Driving a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance processes, efficiency and service levels
- Ensuring compliance with GXO procedures, health & safety standards and operational best practices across the department
- Building strong relationships with stakeholders across Operations, Transport, Planning, Stock, HR and other support functions to effectively manage risks and resolve issues

What you need to succeed at GXO
- Experience leading and developing teams within a warehouse, logistics or distribution environment.
- Strong operational planning and problem-solving skills with the ability to make effective decisions under pressure
- Experience working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ideally JDA, and operational flow management
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and build strong working relationships
- Strong analytical and reporting skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel and PowerPoint
