We are partnering with a highly innovative engineering technology business operating at the heart of the UK's transition to net zero. The Role
Due to a rapidly expanding pipeline of renewable projects across the UK, the technical team is looking for a Junior Control System Engineer. Working closely with senior engineers, you will gain hands-on experience across the entire project lifecycle—from initial electrical design and panel layout through to PLC programming, testing, and final site commissioning.
Requirements
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years of commercial experience within a control systems, automation, or electrical engineering environment.
- Electrical Engineering: Practical experience assisting with electrical designs and control panel schematics.
- Software Engineering: Demonstrable experience writing, modifying, or fault-finding PLC code (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell, Beckhoff, Wago, or similar).
- Qualifications: Degree, HND, or HNC in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, Automation, or a related discipline.
- Able to drive and a willingness to work on site as required
