About the Role
Due to ongoing expansion, an opportunity to join an established Automation business and one of Hunter's long term clients has arisen. This is a hybrid role, where you will split your time between the office, customer sites, and home. In this role you will work on various customer projects from control systems design, programming, integration, and commissioning. Due to the varied nature of customer projects, you will interact with a variety of control systems, but mostly create new control systems using both Siemens and Allen Bradley based systems. Due to the nature of the business, you will work on varied projects across food and beverage, process industries, and regulated manufacturing industries.

Requirements
- 3+ years experience in control systems engineering
- Relevant engineering qualifications (degree, C&G, NVQ etc)
- Experience with Siemens and Allen Bradley products is desirable
- Knowledge of SCADA (Wonderware, Ignition etc)
- Any other automation manufacturer's product suites experience would be advantageous
- Strong knowledge of communication protocols
- Willingness to visit customer sites (up to 1 week away potentially 4 times a year (in UK and Europe))
