About The Opportunity

This is an opportunity to register your interest in Control Systems Engineer roles within engineering environments where you could contribute to the design, development and optimisation of control systems across diverse applications. Roles of this type may sit within collaborative technical teams, supporting the delivery of innovative solutions that enhance operational efficiency and system performance.

What You Would Do

Typical responsibilities could include:

  • Contributing to the design and development of control systems using industry-standard tools and platforms
  • Supporting the implementation of control logic and automation solutions across mechanical, electrical or integrated systems
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot, test and optimise system performance
  • Assisting with technical documentation, including BPMN, UML and system specifications aligned to ISO 9001 standards
  • Engaging with CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes to support continuous improvement
  • Contributing to code review, quality assurance and adherence to technical standards
  • Supporting the integration of distributed systems, APIs and microservices where applicable

What You Could Bring

Most roles of this type require the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
  • Experience with control systems design, automation or systems engineering
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (such as Python, Java, C# or similar)
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS or GCP) and containerisation technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Working knowledge of databases (SQL) and data management principles
  • Experience with version control, CI/CD tools and Linux or Windows environments
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively within technical teams
  • UK work authorisation
