Control Systems Engineer (Structured Text / Ladder Logic)
£50,000 - £55,000 + Company Car + Annual Bonus + 1.5x Overtime + International Travel Opportunities + Flexible Hours + Monday to Friday + Training + Progression
Cambridge, Cambridgeshire
Are you a Control Systems Engineer or similar with experience programming and configuring using ladder logic and structural text for a company that provides in house and specialist training to develop your skillset and prides itself on giving staff a clear pathway of progression to more senior roles?
In this role you will be programming and configuring control systems using structural text and ladder logic (TIA portal / Omron). You will be debugging and testing new code as well as supporting existing machines remotely with occasional onsite support. Occasional visits to manufacturers sites will occur and a company car will be provided; you will also have the chance to do some international travel as well.

This company are a specialist with supplying bespoke technology to the defence, material science, aerospace and nuclear industries globally since the 1990's. They supply brand new systems, provide support as well as upgrade existing ones. Due to the varied nature of the role, your workday will be varied, and you will develop your skillset, taking your career to the next level.
The Role:
- Write new PLC Software develop existing code
- Resolve issues on a wide range of technology
- Debug and test new code
- Assist service engineers remotely
- Monday to Friday role
- Occasional travel with international opportunities
The Person:
