Join a High-Performing Finance Team

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Control Team Assistant to join a busy Finance team on a fixed-term basis for 6-9 months.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with financial data, building relationships across a business, and supporting key reporting and control processes. You do not need to be a qualified accountant, but you will have a strong interest in finance, excellent attention to detail, and the confidence to work independently while collaborating with a variety of stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the intragroup legal entity recharge process.
  • Prepare and maintain the month-end intragroup balance matrix.
  • Assist with IM P&L cost allocations across actuals, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Work closely with Treasury to support invoicing and payment processes, ensuring timely clearance of intercompany balances.
  • Produce ad hoc sales invoices and support credit control activities.
  • Help maintain a strong and effective financial control environment.
  • Investigate and analyse variances, providing clear explanations where required.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support process enhancements.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
