Job Description
Location: Arvato Wellingobrough
Salary: Up to £30,293.62 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm
Contract: Permanent
Working pattern: Fully onsite
Join Arvato as a Control Tower Operator
Are you organised, analytical and confident working in a fast-paced logistics environment? Arvato is looking for a Control Tower Operator to join our Wellingborough team and play a key role in keeping our operations running smoothly and efficiently.
As a Control Tower Operator, you’ll act as a central point of coordination, monitoring operational activity, identifying issues and working with colleagues across the operation to ensure service levels and customer requirements are consistently achieved.
What you'll be doing:
- Monitor daily operational activity and performance across the site.
- Coordinate and prioritise workflows to support the smooth running of the operation.
- Identify operational issues, delays and exceptions and take appropriate action within our SAP WMS system.
- Work closely with warehouse, transport, planning and management teams to resolve issues.
- Monitor KPIs and operational data, highlighting trends and areas requiring attention.
- Maintain accurate records and provide clear and timely updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Support the investigation and resolution of operational problems.
- Ensure processes and procedures are followed consistently.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and key stakeholders.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the operation.

Qualifications
We're looking for someone who is organised, proactive and solution-focused, with excellent attention to detail.
You will ideally have:
- Experience in a logistics, warehouse, transport, supply chain or environment.
- Experience on WMS SAP- essential
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and other operational systems.
- The ability to analyse information and identify issues quickly.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- A calm and professional approach when working under pressure.
- The confidence to communicate with colleagues at all levels.
- A proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.
