Role Overview
Our client, a well-established organization located in the Milton area, is seeking an experienced Controller for a 6-8 month contract assignment, with a targeted start date at the end of September.
This hands-on role will be responsible for managing key accounting and financial reporting functions, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information while supporting the ongoing needs of the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review journal entries and account reconciliations
- Produce monthly and year-end financial statements
- Manage and oversee sales tax filings
- Supervise Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions
- Support month-end and year-end close processes
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures
- Provide financial analysis and support to management as required

Qualifications & Experience
- CPA designation required
- Proven experience in a Controller or senior accounting leadership role
- Public accounting background, ideally with a Big 4 firm
- Strong NetSuite experience
- Advanced Excel skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional, outgoing, and collaborative personality
