Job Opportunity: Controls and Automation Engineer

About the Role

This is an opportunity to broaden your experience across multiple industries, working on control systems from initial concept through to commissioning.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and Modify PLC Software Using Siemens TIA Portal / STEP 7 and/or Allen-Bradley Studio 5000 / RSLogix.
  • Design and Configure HMI and SCADA Applications
  • Support Control System Design, Integration, and Testing Across a varied project portfolio.
  • Carry Out Fault Finding, Commissioning, and System Optimisation
  • Work Closely with Customers and Engineering Teams To deliver reliable automation solutions.
  • Support FAT and SAT Activities and Produce Technical Documentation

Requirements

  • Experience In a Controls, Automation, or PLC Engineering role.
  • Programming Skills Strong programming skills with Siemens and/or Allen-Bradley PLCs.
  • Understanding Of industrial control systems, electrical drawings, and communications networks.
  • Troubleshooting and Problem Solving A practical approach to troubleshooting and problem solving.
  • Teamwork Confidence working independently and as part of a project team.
