A Snapshot of Your Day
We are looking for an experienced Controls Engineer to work within a team responsible for core/package controls design and customer order engineering for SGT-100, SGT-300, and SGT-400 new unit contracts. You will collaborate with internal and external customers to define control requirements, develop and maintain standard solutions, and support turbine control system hardware and software configurations.
How You’ll Make An Impact
- Collaborate with internal and external customers to define control requirements.
- Research, develop, and maintain Simatic PCS7 and Allen-Bradley Clogix standard solutions.
- Configure standard hardware/software designs and develop contract solutions to meet customer needs.
- Facilitate the supply of turbine control system hardware and provide supporting documentation.
- Support core test development programs and offer technical assistance for helpdesk/site issues.
- Conduct controls customer witness tests and undertake travel as required.
What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience in controls engineering and design.
- Proficiency in Simatic PCS7 and Allen-Bradley Clogix systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively.
- Experience in configuring hardware/software for control systems.
- Excellent communication skills for customer interaction.
- Willingness to travel as needed for project requirements.

About The Team
Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
