£40,000 - £50,000 + 30 Days Holiday + Healthcare + Company Benefits + Country Club Membership + International Travel

Are you a controls engineer, automations engineer, PLC programmer, software engineer or similar? Do you want to join an innovative specialist manufacturer where you will develop software for bespoke automated machinery on a wide variety of projects for high profile clients across the UK and international such as Rolls Royce, JCB and Mclaren?
On offer is the opportunity to join a specialist engineering business developing automated machinery, equipment and processes for the composite manufacturing industry. The company works on projects across luxury marine, aerospace, wind energy and advanced manufacturing, providing cutting-edge solutions for clients worldwide.
In this role, you will develop the software that controls, monitors, regulates and automates specialist composite manufacturing technology. You will create software concepts, program PLCs, support Siemens TIA Portal development, assist with testing and commissioning, and provide technical support to clients and engineers both in the UK and internationally.

This role would suit someone with a background in software engineering, PLCs, automation, Siemens TIA Portal, control software or similar, looking for a varied Monday to Friday role within a specialist engineering business offering travel, technical development and long-term career progression.
The Role:
- Developing control and automation software for specialist machinery
- PLC programming, software testing, commissioning support and technical troubleshooting
- Working with colleagues, suppliers and clients, with UK and international travel when required
The Person:
- Background in software engineering, PLC programming, automation or similar
- Siemens TIA Portal experience advantageous
- Commutable to Saltash, Cornwall
