Do you have a strong technical background in industrial control & automation looking for a new role in an established business who offer career development and support you in becoming an expert in your field?
On offer is the opportunity to join an industry specialist in engineering. Who work on a variety of projects across water, wastewater, utilities, energy and industrial process sectors.
In this varied role, you will act as the technical lead on site-based projects, carrying out surveys and assessments, developing scopes of work, producing functional design specifications, and supporting full project lifecycle delivery through to commissioning, and handover. You will work closely with design, commissioning and delivery teams while maintaining strong ownership of technical outcomes.

The role would suit a Controls / ICA engineer with experience in project delivery and enjoys hands on technical responsibility, rather than the typical project management role.
The Role:
- Conduct site surveys and assess existing PLC, SCADA and instrumentation systems
- Define scope of works, technical requirements and system upgrade strategies
- Estimate project effort, materials and costs for ICA / control system upgrades
The Person:
- Strong background in Industrial Control & Automation (ICA), EC&I or Controls Engineering
- Experience with PLC systems, SCADA, HMI development and instrumentation
- Commutable to Reading / Surrounding area
