As a Controls & Test Manager, you’ll lead technical excellence across propulsion manufacturing, influencing how cutting-edge systems are designed, tested and continuously improved. You'll have the chance to flourish while working with pioneering brands and products, bringing your expertise to complex challenges that support quality, efficiency and sustainable growth.

Working across controls, test engineering and data analytics, you'll help create smarter, more connected production environments while developing high-performing teams and advancing digital transformation initiatives.
Here's what to expect:
- Leading and developing a team of controls, test and manufacturing systems engineers, providing technical guidance, coaching and hands-on problem solving
- Driving improvements in manufacturing performance, reducing downtime, scrap and process variation through engineering excellence and continuous improvement
- Defining and standardising controls, automation and reporting architectures across manufacturing facilities to enhance reliability and scalability
- Delivering digitalisation initiatives that improve visibility, traceability and decision-making through data-driven insights
- Acting as the subject matter expert for controls, automation, test engineering and manufacturing systems, ensuring safety remains the highest priority

What You’ll Need
Along with your ambition to achieve the exceptional, there are several skills and experiences that you’ll need to help you succeed here, including:
- Demonstrating extensive experience in controls, automation, test engineering and industrial software development within high-volume manufacturing environments
- Leading technical teams within manufacturing systems, controls, automation or test engineering functions
- Applying expertise across Siemens and Rockwell PLC platforms, industrial communications and manufacturing system integration
- Developing software solutions using technologies such as Python, C#, SQL and related industrial applications
- Bringing experience of advanced manufacturing technologies, robotics, data analytics and digital manufacturing solutions, with propulsion or battery manufacturing knowledge being advantageous
