The Role

Trade convertible bonds across global markets in support of portfolio objectives, executing across convertible arbitrage, relative value, and selective directional strategies

  • Support a highly regarded Portfolio Manager through idea generation, trade implementation, and ongoing risk management across regions and instruments
  • Generate investment ideas through deep fundamental, valuation, and capital structure analysis, with the ability to assess relative value across equity, converts, straight credit, and derivatives
  • Actively participate in primary market and ECM activity, including new issue evaluation, deal analysis, and participation decisions
  • Monitor and manage risk across strategies and geographies, maintaining a disciplined approach to position management

  • Experience in convertible bond markets, from a buy-side or sell-side background. Relevant profiles include traders, credit or equity analysts, and ECM professionals with meaningful converts exposure
  • Experience covering at least one major market; US, Europe, Asia, or Australia. Global exposure is beneficial but not required
  • Strong understanding of convertible bond structures, pricing, and hedging techniques across equity-like, balanced and busted converts
  • Proven capital structure expertise, with the ability to assess relative value across the full stack
  • A fundamental, research-driven approach to investment decision-making, comfortable operating within a rigorous analytical culture
