Are you an experienced Conveyancer looking for a better work / life balance?

My client is looking for an experienced Residential Property Lawyer to join their friendly team in Tamworth.

If successful, you will have the flexibility to work from home two days a week along with additional perks such as 25 days’ holiday per annum (plus public holidays), with the option of taking additional unpaid leave, free onsite parking and Private Medical Insurance.

The Role

  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of Residential Property Law
  • Produce 1265 chargeable and recoverable fee earning hours per annum
  • Achieve fee earning targets set annually
  • Cross sell services across the Firm and act as appropriate
  • Manage an agreed caseload of clients in consultation with the Department Head
  • Use the correct office procedures and systems to manage cases effectively and in accordance with the Firm's standards
  • Process cases on a timely and cost-effective basis
  • Bill promptly and to collect outstanding balances as soon as feasible
  • Enhance and improve the firm's client base by way of effective liaison with clients, both existing and future, and introducers of work
  • Maintain professional standards

Qualifications and Experience

  • You must be a qualified Lawyer (either Solicitor or CILEX Lawyer)
  • You should have at least 2 years’ PQE
  • You should have at least 2 years broad Residential Property experience but may be more senior
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain good client relationships
