Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Conveyancer role based in Blackburn. The Conveyancer will manage residential and/or commercial property transactions from instruction to completion, including drafting and reviewing contracts, preparing and checking title documentation, and handling enquiries.

- Liaise with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other solicitors to ensure smooth progress of matters
- Maintain accurate files
- Meet compliance and regulatory requirements
- Conduct searches
- Manage exchange and completion processes
- Provide clear, timely communication and updates to clients
- Contribute to team targets
- Support colleagues when needed
- Uphold the firm’s standards of service and professionalism
Qualifications
- Strong grounding in property Law and a practical understanding of Legal Issues related to residential and/or commercial conveyancing
- Experience in Legal Document Preparation, including contracts, reports on title, and completion documentation
- Ability to provide clear, client-centered Legal Consulting and advice throughout the transaction process
- Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, for interacting with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders
- Previous experience in a conveyancing or property law role within a law firm or legal services environment
- Relevant legal qualification (e.g., Licensed Conveyancer, Solicitor, or equivalent experience) is highly desirable
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple files and deadlines
- Familiarity with case management systems and basic IT proficiency; commitment to regulatory compliance and professional standards
