The opportunity
We are recruiting for an exciting opportunity to join Stone King’s highly respected Real Estate team, offering the chance to work across a varied and rewarding residential property caseload while supporting clients through some of life's most important milestones. As a Solicitor, Conveyancer, or Chartered Legal Executive, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality legal advice on residential property matters, working closely with colleagues across our Private Client, Charity, Education, and wider Real Estate teams.

We're looking for someone who combines strong technical expertise with exceptional client care skills and who enjoys building trusted relationships while managing a diverse caseload of property transactions.
You’ll play an important role in supporting a broad range of clients through residential sales, purchases, and related transactions, while also having the opportunity to work on charity property matters alongside specialists from across the firm. Working within a supportive and well-established team, you'll have the chance to further develop your expertise, contribute to business development initiatives, and build your profile within a nationally recognised practice.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Managing a varied caseload of residential property matters, including sales, purchases, assents, transfers of equity, and lease extensions.
- Advising clients on residential property transactions and delivering exceptional levels of client care.
- Drafting and reviewing contracts, legal documents, and transaction-related paperwork.
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and third parties to ensure transactions progress efficiently.
- Conducting legal research and staying up to date with developments in property law and regulation.
- Handling negotiations and resolving issues that arise throughout the conveyancing process.
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant legal, regulatory, and professional standards.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across the Real Estate team and wider firm.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships while identifying opportunities to support clients further.
- Participating in marketing, networking, and business development activities that contribute to the growth of the practice.
What We’re Looking For
- An experienced Solicitor, Conveyancer, or Chartered Legal Executive with experience managing their own residential property caseload.
- Strong knowledge of conveyancing processes, property law, and relevant legislation.
- Experience handling transactions from exchange of contracts through to completion.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- A proven ability to manage a busy caseload efficiently and effectively.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience using legal technology and case management systems.
- A collaborative, client-focused, and solutions-driven approach to legal practice.

- An established client following (although this is not essential).
- Experience working across a broad range of residential property transactions.
