Role Description
This is a full-time on-site Conveyancer role located in Sunderland. The Conveyancer will manage residential and, where applicable, commercial property transactions from instruction to completion, including drafting and reviewing contracts, preparing and checking legal documents, reporting to client and general progression of files. Daily responsibilities include liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other solicitors, resolving queries, and keeping all parties informed throughout the transaction. The role also involves conducting title checks and searches, identifying and addressing legal issues, maintaining accurate case files, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and firm procedures. The Conveyancer will contribute to the firm’s reputation by providing timely, clear communication and high-quality client service.

Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Property with experience handling Legal Issues related to property transactions.
- Demonstrated ability in providing clear, client-focused advice throughout the conveyancing process.
- Proficiency in Legal Document Preparation, including contracts, reports on title, and Land Registry documentation.
- Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, for liaising with clients and third parties and managing expectations.
- Relevant professional qualification (e.g., Licensed Conveyancer, Solicitor, or equivalent experience in conveyancing).
- Proven experience managing a caseload independently while meeting deadlines and regulatory requirements.
- Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and familiarity with case management and legal research tools.
- Commitment to client care, confidentiality, and continuous professional development within a legal practice.
