Conveyancer Cramlington

We are looking for an experienced Conveyancer to join an established legal team based in Cramlington.

This is an excellent opportunity for a conveyancing professional who is confident managing their own caseload and taking residential property matters from initial instruction through to completion.

You'll be joining a supportive environment where client service, technical quality and efficient case progression are key priorities.

The Role

As a Conveyancer, you will manage a varied caseload of residential property matters, providing clear advice to clients and ensuring transactions progress smoothly.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing residential sales and purchases from instruction through to completion
  • Reviewing contracts, title documents and property information
  • Ordering and reviewing property searches
  • Raising and responding to enquiries
  • Identifying and resolving issues affecting transactions
  • Advising clients throughout the conveyancing process
  • Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders and other solicitors
  • Preparing and reviewing legal and conveyancing documentation
  • Managing exchange and completion processes
  • Dealing with post-completion requirements
  • Monitoring deadlines and progressing matters proactively
  • Keeping clients updated throughout their transactions
  • Maintaining accurate and compliant case files
  • Managing your own workload and prioritising competing deadlines
  • Ensuring all work is completed in line with relevant legal and regulatory requirements

About You

We're looking for an experienced Conveyancer or Conveyancing Fee Earner who can work independently and take ownership of their caseload.

You should have:

  • Previous experience managing residential conveyancing matters
  • Strong knowledge of the conveyancing process from instruction through to completion
  • Experience handling sales and purchases
  • Good technical understanding of property law and procedure
  • Excellent communication and client-care skills
  • Strong drafting and organisational abilities
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • The ability to manage a busy caseload and competing deadlines
  • A proactive approach to progressing transactions
  • Confidence dealing with clients and professional stakeholders
  • A strong understanding of compliance and file management requirements

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will be a hands-on conveyancer who can hit the ground running, manage their own files and keep transactions progressing efficiently.

You'll be confident dealing with clients, identifying potential issues and working proactively with other parties to get matters through to completion.

This role would suit a Conveyancer, Licensed Conveyancer or experienced Conveyancing Fee Earner looking for their next opportunity in Cramlington.
