My client is recruiting for an experienced Residential Conveyancing Associate or Senior Associate to join their office in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire.
The following information provides an overview of the skills, qualities, and qualifications needed for this role.
This is an excellent opportunity for an established residential conveyancer with a strong track record and a commitment to delivering an exceptional client experience. The successful candidate will manage their own caseload while developing existing client relationships and contributing to the continued growth of the department.
Key Responsibilities Will Include
- Managing a varied residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion.
- Handling residential sales and purchases.
- Dealing with freehold and leasehold transactions.
- Managing remortgages and shared ownership matters.
- Handling lease extensions.
- Providing clear, practical and commercially focused legal advice.
- Building and maintaining strong client and professional relationships.
- Developing existing relationships and generating new business.
- Contributing to the continued growth of the residential conveyancing team.
- Using case management systems and modern conveyancing technology effectively.

The Candidate
- Be a qualified Solicitor, CILEX professional or Licensed Conveyancer.
- Have 5+ years' PQE or equivalent experience in residential conveyancing.
- Have strong technical knowledge across residential property.
- Have a proven ability to independently manage a busy caseload.
- Have excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Have excellent communication and client relationship skills.
- Have an established following, client base and/or professional network.
- Have the ability and appetite to generate new business and develop existing professional relationships.
- Be proactive, commercially minded and focused on delivering excellent client service.
- Be confident using case management systems and modern conveyancing technology.
