This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced conveyancing professional to manage residential property transactions from instruction through to completion on behalf of mortgage lenders dealing with repossessed properties.

You will play a key role in progressing matters efficiently, ensuring exceptional client service, regulatory compliance, and adherence to service level agreements while working closely with solicitors, lenders, asset managers, estate agents, and buyers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage residential conveyancing transactions from instruction through to completion and post-completion activities.
  • Prepare and draft legal documentation, including contracts, transfer deeds, title reports, auction packs, and completion statements.
  • Deal with enquiries raised by buyers and their solicitors, ensuring timely progression of transactions.
  • Identify legal, regulatory, and operational risks within cases and escalate appropriately to the Team Leader, Client, or Asset Manager in accordance with procedures.
  • Prepare files for exchange and completion, ensuring all requirements have been satisfied.
  • Manage completion monies and ensure accurate financial reconciliations in line with client and regulatory requirements.
  • Liaise effectively with solicitors, buyers, lenders, estate agents, asset managers, and internal stakeholders to progress matters efficiently.
  • Submit Land Registry applications and manage post-sale matters, including the distribution of surplus funds where applicable.
  • Maintain accurate records and case management systems.
  • Complete client MI and attend client and Asset Manager review meetings.
  • Ensure compliance with Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Data Protection, Information Security, and Financial Crime procedures.
  • Maintain high levels of accuracy, productivity, and service delivery while meeting client SLAs and internal quality standards.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
