Conveyancing Administrative Assistant
Macnairs + Wilson Solicitors — Dennistoun Office
Macnairs + Wilson is seeking a capable and well-organised Conveyancing Administrative Assistant to join our expanding residential conveyancing team at our Dennistoun office.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills, attention to detail, and an interest in property law to contribute to a busy, client-focused Scottish legal practice.
The role
You will provide day-to-day administrative support to solicitors and paralegals within the conveyancing department. Duties will include:
- Opening and maintaining client files, both electronically and in paper form
- Preparing correspondence, forms, and standard conveyancing documentation
- Managing incoming and outgoing post, emails, and telephone calls
- Liaising professionally with clients, estate agents, lenders, surveyors, and other solicitors’ firms
- Assisting with property searches, document collation, and file progression
- Maintaining accurate diary dates, transaction records, and compliance documentation
- Supporting the team through the purchase, sale, and remortgage process
- General office and administrative duties as required

About you
The successful candidate will be organised, reliable, and comfortable working accurately in a busy environment. Previous experience in a legal office, conveyancing department, or property-related administrative role would be an advantage, but applications are welcome from candidates with strong transferable administration experience.
